Is Coffee a Major Staple at Your Work Too?
The office is nearly always filled with the brewing smell of deep dark coffee. Those of the coffee lovers have the office smelling like the nearest Starbucks on a regular basis. Coming in at a close and notable second, are the tea drinkers.
Do not fear, however, tea drinkers and coffee drinkers can get along…
4th of July Sprint
The short week coming up means double time at the office. The major plus is that we all will have the chance to spend quality time with those we love. A long weekend every time and again is a great thing. Also, the 4th of July creates a special opportunity for families and friends to gather together to remember the previous generations of Americans who helped to build this country.
Whatever your political persuasion, have a terrific 4th of July!
LeBlanc Global People
LeBlanc Global
LeBlanc Global has taken a winning team and a tried-and-true strategy to embark on one of its largest endeavors yet. With the advent of new and stable software technologies and our exceptional gains in 2007, we are moving to add new people to the team in 2008. Our goal is to triple the size of our a network of sites over the next 18 months to access new markets. While profits are expected to slow with added weight of re-investment and a sluggish economy, we expect sales to exceed 2007 by 15 percent.
New Team Members
New additions to the company include Nathan Kharrl (Assistant Project Manager and Lead Editor), Renzo Johnson (Lead Web Design & Professional Photographer), Jennifer Spear (Assistant Editor), Aaron Weiss (Copy Writer), and Jamie Miller (Assistant Designer and Copy Writer). These people show great promise to help facilitate our strategies and push LeBlanc Global forward through the rest of 2008.
Projections suggest that we will have added an additional seven to ten people to the main project by the end of the 18 month sprint. However, this will depend heavily on any further downturns in the economy. If the downward cycle continues to hurt the retail sector we may move laterally along the project base to focus more strongly on the “greener” markets.
Plans to Re-facilitate
Currently, we have paused on our plans to purchase a new facility. While a definite timeframe has not been issued, it is likely we will not be looking to buy a new property for the next 10-24 months. This precautionary measure will allows us to better redeploy our earnings to marketing and personnel during these trying months.
Travel Site: “Project-T”
While the name and concepts of the first travel site company are very much under wraps, it is expected that phase one will commence late sometime in June. This site is expected to add a significant source of revenue within 12 months of launching. More will become public as phase two is rolled out.
Trustfield Internet Solutions Consulting
The decision was solidified this April, to roll back the public consultation services of Trustfield Internet Solutions. Due to a slow in prospects and the profits of LeBlanc Global in 2007 and those expect this year as well, it has been decided the Trustfield Internet Solutions will only provide services to the group. This decision was made in part because of added start-up costs likely to draw from the core company set to properly place TIS in a winning position to bring in a viable level of clientele. The full scale impact on TIS has not yet been assessed, but at this time only nominal services are being offered to current clients.
TrusteCart Retained
TrusteCart will continue to be maintained for the websites currently depending on this technology. However, with the roll back of the new release, we have decided to employ two new PHP based software packages in the launch of our next several websites. We are hopeful the development of TrusteCart will exceed our expectations, but believe the new cart version will not be ready until late August.
“Planet Green”
Planet Green TV has made it to cable TV and which is a major indicator of the popularity and movement of “earth friendly” into mainstream America. At LeBlanc Global, we feel confident in our latest endeavor to launch ecoFactory, a website with the goal of marketing products that are better for the earth and for civilization.
With Jennifer Spear at the helm, it is likely to stay on task and promise a theme that will appropriately address and appeal to a broader market than would have been possible just a few years ago. Our expectation is that as the market for sustainable, green, renewable, and earth friendly products matures, ecoFactory will be correctly poised to take advantage of substantial growth potential. Slated for release in October 2008, ecoFactory will be coming your way to bring you products that truly will add value.
